Betty Ann Aide, 93, passed away on March 11, 2023.

Cremation has taken place and at her request there will be no service.

Private burial will be at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery in Mandan.

Betty was born to Ann and Harry Kent on January 4, 1930, on her grandparent’s farm near Deer Creek, Minnesota. She graduated from Bismarck High School in 1947. After graduation, she was employed as a bookkeeper at The Rose Shop until 1951.

She married Dick Aide on July 8, 1950. They were the first couple married in the First Presbyterian Chapel. A stay-at-home mom who embraced her life as a homemaker and mother. She had deep abiding love for her husband and their three sons.

She enjoyed her friends associated with her bridge groups, Mother’s Club, High School Potluck Club, her 10 years employed at Plum Tree, and the First Presbyterian Church. Not only a member of the church, Betty also served one three year term as deacon.

Betty is survived by her three sons; Mike (Bonnie), Mark (Denise) and Lee; seven grandchildren who were the joys of her life; three granddaughters, Katie (Josh) Kringen, Kelsey (Keri) Stanley, and Abbey (Leslie) Aide; four grandsons, Jack, Sam, Will (Shelby) and Harrison (Chloe) Aide; seven precious great-grandchildren; a special niece, Nancy Benrud Bartlett; her brother’s children, Terry Kent, Susan Post, Jim Kent, and Rande Grover.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother and sister-in-law, Don and Elaine Kent.
