Brian Keith Jones

Brian Jones, 57, Lincoln, passed away on January 11, 2024. 

Services will be held at a later date. 

Brian Keith Jones was born in Rosewood Heights, Illinois on September 21, 1966 to Carl L. and Coleen Jones. He attended Rosewood Heights Elementary and Roxana High in Illinois. The family moved to Pick City, ND in 1983 and he graduated from Riverdale High in 1984.

After graduation he started a family and had two children. He then bought a house in Lincoln and shortly after he started his own company, Cabinets by Design, making custom cabinets and countertops. Brian did all of this while supporting his family. He then moved on to other positions ending at Light of Christ Catholic Schools. Brian was a handy man and continued to use these skills throughout his life. 

Brian loved being outdoors, whether it be swimming, fishing or just walking around some trails with his dog, Blizzy.

He enjoyed being with family and always wanted to see them as much as he could.

He was a very social person and had the best sense of humor. Brian was always ready to have a good time. 

Brian will be deeply missed by his friends and family. 

Brian is survived by his mother, Coleen Jones (Minot), brother, Jeff Dalhaus (Mississippi), sister, Maryann (Eddie) Vollmer (Minot), children, Joshua (Kayla) Jones and Tiffany Jones, niece, but also Brian's second daughter at heart, Jessica Jones, nieces & nephews, Nathan Lee, Madison Lee, Jalynn Vollmer and Cole Vollmer, and grandchildren, Hailey Rath, Ashlynn Rath and Quinn Jones.

Brian was preceded in death by his father, Carl Jones.
