Bruce Renhowe, 75, Bismarck, died January 5, 2018, at a local hospital. A memorial service will be held at 1:30 pm on Friday January 12, 2018 at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck, ND, with Rev. Steve Sathre officiating. There will be no visitation, cremation has taken place. Bruce was born January 21, 1942, in Fargo, ND, to Ingvald and Esther (Skavlan) Renhowe. He was raised and educated in Fargo, ND, and graduated from Fargo Central High. He went on to NDSU and graduated with a degree in Zoology and Botany. Bruce received his Master’s degree in Wildlife Management from SDSU. Bruce married Paulette Perlenfein on November 30, 1963 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Fargo. After college Bruce was employed by the ND State Game and Fish as a Habitat Biologist. He was stationed in Riverdale, and then Parshall for a short time. In 1972, moved to Williston, where he and Paulette lived for 19 years. In 1991, they moved to Bismarck and he retired in 2006. Bruce enjoyed cars, trains, traveling, hunting and especially NDSU football and spending time with friends and family. Bruce is survived by his spouse, Paulette; his children, Christine Renhowe, Bismarck, Paul (Karen) Renhowe, Sudbury, MA; his grandchildren, Sam, Isabella, and Kate; his brother, John (Kim) Renhowe, Fort Collins, CO; his nieces and nephews, Lisa, Katie and Steven and many brothers & sisters-in law. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ingvald and Esther.
