Byron J Hartwick

Byron J. Hartwick, 77, passed away on December 3, 2017, in Minneapolis, MN. Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, December 9, at the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit, 519 Raymond St., Bismarck. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be held at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bismarck. Byron was born in Bismarck, ND, graduated from St. Mary’s Central High School class of 1958 and was a North Dakota State University alum with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He worked for Boeing Aircraft in Seattle for a short time before moving to Minneapolis for a long and rewarding career with Control Data Corporation. He loved his family and friends and visits were looked forward to because he was so much fun! He is survived by his brother, Vernon Hartwick of Bismarck, 1 nephew, 4 nieces and many great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Barbara Hartwick; his sister-in-law, Marge; and his niece, Brenda.
