Carol Rue

Carol Jean (Flegel) Rue, 62, Steele, passed away on December 22, 2019 at Golden Manor in Steele. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 27, at Golden Manor, 214 4^th St NW, Steele.

Burial will be at the Linton Cemetery, Linton.

Carol Jean was born on February 15, 1957 in Montana. Herbert and Esther (Bollinger) Flegel were blessed to be her parents. She grew up in Great Falls, MT and attended school there. Carol married Paul Rue and together they made their home in Great Falls.

Carol enjoyed visiting and phone calls with family and friends. She had an excellent memory and sent cards and letters to her loved ones on their birthdays and holidays. She loved listening to music and playing card games.

In 2010 Carol moved to North Dakota and in 2011, she entered into the Golden Manor in Steele. She loved to be a part of the community.

The family would like to thank the staff of the Golden Manor and the auxiliary members for their care and compassion they showed Carol.

Carol is survived by her good friend and guardian, Val Flegel; and many cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul; and her parents.
