Carolyn M. Ehli, 77, Bismarck, passed away Nov. 24, 2021, at CHI St. Alexius Medical Center, Bismarck. Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 2, at Church of Corpus Christi, 1919 N Second St., Bismarck.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Pkwy, Bismarck, with a prayer service at 7 p.m.
Burial will be held 2 p.m. Friday at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan.
Carolyn was born on October 1, 1944, in Wyoming to Leland and Julia (Brammell) Achilles. She was raised and educated in Thermopolis, Wyoming. She graduated from the University of Montana, Missoula, and obtained a bachelor’s degree in teaching. Carolyn taught in Montana and North Dakota and retired from the North Dakota Army National Guard after 21 years of service.
In April 1982 she married Philip G. Ehli in Bismarck. She attended the Church of Corpus Christi, Bismarck.
Carolyn is survived by her husband, Philip G. Ehli; five step-children and their spouses; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
