Christine Lynn Goetz

Christine Lynn Goetz, (Chris), 47, Bismarck, passed away September 13, 2017. A private memorial service and burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery will take place. Chris was born July 29, 1970, to Richard and Gayle (Bauer) Goetz in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, and was the youngest of three children. Her family moved back to Bismarck in 1972, where she resided until her death. She graduated from St. Mary’s Central High School in 1988, and the University of Mary in 1993, with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Business Administration. She worked at Sioux Sporting Goods while she attended college. After graduation, she worked in her family business and for various businesses in Bismarck. Chris loved the outdoors. She enjoyed fishing, camping, biking, and hunting with her family at their farm in the Robinson, ND area. She was a very kind and caring person who was always there for her family and friends. She was loved dearly and will be greatly missed. Chris is survived by her father, Richard Sr.; her two brothers, Richard Jr. (Kara), Eagan, MN; and Stephen, Portland, OR; her niece, Julia, Eagan, MN; and two nephews, James, Eagan, MN; and Stephen II, Portland, OR. Chris was preceded in death by her mother, Gayle; and her grandparents, Art and Joyce Bauer, and Egidi and Rose Goetz.
