Clinton William Robert Rusch, 93, Mandan, passed away on July,21 2018, at St. Alexius in Bismarck ND. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 am on Thursday, July 26, at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck, ND. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, from 9:30 am to 10:30 am at Parkway Funeral Service, Bismarck. Clinton was born on June 4, 1925, to Robert and Ella (Rabe) Rusch in New Salem, ND. He was one of 6 sons born to the couple. Clinton graduated from New Salem High School in 1943. After graduation he started working on the families’ dairy farm. He spent most of his life on the farm milking cows till he was 80 years old before retiring to Mandan, ND. Clinton spent his early years raising horses and traveling around the country visiting different states. Clinton was a very talented carpenter, along with his father he built a working grain elevator, which still stands to this day. Clinton loved farm life and being around and working cattle. Above all else Clinton loved spending time with his kids and grandkids. Countless hours were spent milking cows and doing chores, with a good joke or story of his younger days were told. In 1971 Clinton married the love of his life Jeanette Lynn. They were married 45 years till her passing in 2016. To the union they had two daughters and one son. Margaret (Jermaine) Ervin, Mandan, Ronald (Amber) Rusch, New Salem, and Susan (Ty) Hardan, Bismarck. Clinton had 8 grandchildren, Chanceler, Dawsyn, Kailey, Devin, Brayden, Preston Rusch, Jermaree and Jerriah Ervin. Clinton is survived by his three children listed above; two brothers, Roger (Marlene) and Robert Rusch; one sister in law, Margaret (Ray) Klinitski; along with numerous nieces and nephews. Clinton was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Ella; two brothers, Viran and Dennis Rusch; one infant brother, Willis; two brothers-in-law, Paul Evanosky and Ronald Lynn; and three sisters-in-law, Vi, Delores, and Caroline Rusch.
