Family will greet visitors starting at 6:00 pm Wednesday, June 6, at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck, where a rosary/vigil service will begin at 7:00 pm. Dale was born February 16, 1947, to Alphons and Maureen (O’Neil) Graden in Beulah, ND. She grew up in Beulah enjoying much of her youth with her siblings and cousins. She graduated from Beulah High School in 1965. It seemed destined that Dale, a Betty Crocker Award winning baker, would meet Terry Kraft as he tried to borrow sugar from a neighbor Dale was visiting. Terry got the sugar and Dale’s phone number. Dale and Terry were married May 27, 1968, at St. Mary’s Cathedral in Fargo. To this blessed union, 4 children were born leading to 16 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Dale and Terry spent much of their married life living near Lark, ND, raising their kids. Dale was a stay-at-home Mom keeping the household running while Terry worked the lines. After she sent the kids proudly off to college, Dale worked as a church secretary-bookkeeper for three parishes: St. Lawrence, St. Gertrude, and St. Theresa. She maintained contact with many of the priests throughout her life. She and Terry served as foster parents to many kids through PATH. Dale was a grateful recipient of organ donations including corneas to combat corneal dystrophy and a kidney later in life. Dale was blessed to have travelled to Ireland and other favorite destinations with special people in her life including her much missed mother Maureen. Dale was a faith-filled woman who trusted in the Virgin Mary and the power of the rosary. She was proud of raising four strong, productive adults. Her greatest joys were in interacting and watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She especially enjoyed watching and listening to concerts, plays, programs, sporting events, and Judge Judy/Perry Mason/Columbo. Dale is survived by her husband of 51 years, Terry, Bismarck; her children, Art (Tina), Fargo, Mike (Jean), Bismarck, Frank (Sharolie), Bismarck, and Ann (Don), Bismarck; her mother-in-law Frances Kraft; and her daughter-in-law, Tracy Kraft. She is also survived by her siblings, Erin (Victor), Bismarck, Norman (Faye), Minneapolis, Mildred (George), Vining, IA, Joann (Ahmad), Papilion, NE, and Ruth (Fred), Twin Falls, ID. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alphons and Maureen; her infant brother, John; and her father-in-law, Art Kraft.
