On Friday, October 26, 2018, the greatest woman to ever be called wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend went to join her Lord and Savior with her Eddie and their family by her side. Danette Susan Biegler (Fallgatter) was born on 10/12/1952. Danette spent 50 years with her perfect match, Eddie. Eddie and Danette were married December 22, 1972. They created a home where 2 children were welcomed. Kim (Cale) Fallgatter and their children, Amara (9) and Eli (7). Evan (Kim Schroeder) and their daughter to be welcomed to the world March 2019. Danette bloomed as a grandmother. She enjoyed the time that she spent with her “grands”. When she couldn’t be with them, they were never far from their thoughts. She spent the time apart from them looking for the perfect hair piece for Amara’s beautiful hair or shopping for treasures to keep for Eli when they would be together. Danette lived an inspirational life. She spent her time on earth creating a legacy that will not be forgotten. In her 66 years she created lifelong friendships with everyone she met. She was full of laughter. She was the bright spot in the room with her beautiful smile and her infectious laugh. She worked in long term care as an aide, then activities director for 40 years. This was a job created for Danette. She excelled at organizing others and providing therapeutic activities to keep the residents engaged to keep their days filled with remembering precious memories and giving quality to their lives. After retiring from activity director, she began working at the Kidder County School as a para-professional where she continued her life's work of spreading inspiration, joy, laughter and compassion with all she worked with. She was the guardian of the playground and worked with the children in the reading and science groups. Danette treasured the time she spent with her scrapbooking friends. She could spend hours visiting and creating memories while preserving the moments of her life. Whether Danette called you “Sista” or “Girlie” she had the gift of making everyone she met feel better just by being in her presence. She exuded kindness and had an infectious laugh. She fought for justice and would not tolerate unkindness. She had a strength that came with knowing God and living a life for Him. She accepted Him as her Savior and will spend eternity with Him. Danette lived a life that has left a legacy, not only for her family, but for her community. Danette was active as a board member of various committees and would spend her time serving anyone who asked. She loved late night visits with her sisters or go shopping with her best friend, Jodi. She had a servants heart. Danette was the gatherer, the organizer, the glue that held the Biegler and Fallgatter families together. Her presence will be greatly missed by her Fallgatter siblings, “the D’s”: Donna (Bruce), Dianne (Sonny), Dennis (Eileen), Dottie (Jim), Deb (Jerry), Dean (Kathy), Dolly (Pius), Dwight (Robin) and Biegler sister and brother-in-laws, many nieces and nephews. Danette joins her Mother, Darlene, her Father, Donald and brother-in-laws: Bruce Darsey, Sonny Moch, Pius Kuhn. Please continue to remember Danette with an act of kindness, a hug or a smile to someone in need. Life is a precious gift. Danette lived life with a purpose and she encouraged others to do the same.
