 Daryl Nelson, 90, passed away April 2, 2021. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, April 8 at Grace Lutheran Church, Driscoll, ND. A service livestream will be available on the funeral home’s website.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Eastgate Funeral Service, 2302 E Divide Ave, Bismarck. A prayer service will begin at 7 p.m.

Burial will be held at Grace Lutheran Cemetery, Driscoll.

Daryl was born April 28, 1930 and raised in Driscoll. He married Joan Iverson in 1952 and together had two sons, Gregg and Steve. He married Jolene Morgan, the love of his life, and they lived in Driscoll on the DN Ranch until moving to Bismarck in 2019.

He loved farming, his cows, family and community.

Daryl is survived by his wife Jolene; sons, Gregg (Ruth) Nelson, Fargo, and Steve Nelson, Bismarck; step children, Brenda Morgan, Bismarck, Barbara Morrison, FL, Jackie (Cary) Kitzan, Richardton; grandchildren, Quinn Nelson, Little Rock, Streeg Nelson, Devils Lake; step grandchildren, Victoria Kitzan, Trevor Bushard and Shane Bushard; and one great-grandson, Liam.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alden and Verna; and sister, Ruth.
