Debbie was the youngest of seven daughters. She resided in Ft. Yates, ND, with her family until 1961 at which time the family moved to Aberdeen, SD, for Special Education opportunities. Debbie attended school at Garfield Special Education School until she completed the program. She then attended the Adjustment Training Center in Aberdeen. Debbie also enjoyed work at a hair salon in Aberdeen. In 1997 she moved with her mom to Bismarck. Late in her mother’s life, Debbie took great care of her mom. Debbie was a special gift of joy. Her smile lit up the room. She immediately loved everyone she met. Every person on earth was her “favorite" and her best friend. Debbie was a prolific hugger. Debbie was very social and loved to sing, just like Patsy Kline. She loved to dance whenever she could, the bigger the audience the better. Debbie enjoyed movies, her favorite being "The Birdcage". She watched it hundreds of times and bought her mom a copy of it too, just in case hers did not work. She also enjoyed watching Golden Girls. Debbie's hobbies included cross-stitch, latch-hook and paperwork. She was always proud of her beautiful nails and would be happy to show you. Debbie loved to bowl and participated in various leagues. She was a past member of Designer Genes and a Bunco Club. Debbie is survived by her sisters, Marlene Archambault, Johnelle Opem, and Sherri Stiles-Imker; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Dorothy; her sisters, Evretta Plum, Diane Claymore and Irene Bender.
