Dennis Paasch, 68, Bismarck, passed away Sept.17, 2020 at Sanford Health, Bismarck. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 21 at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Pkwy, Bismarck. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. A service livestream will be available on the funeral home’s website.
A luncheon gathering for family and friends will be held following the service at Sertoma Park Community Room.
Dennis was born on Aug. 5, 1952 to Ernest and Rose Paasch in Jamestown. He grew up on a family farm in Wimbledon. Dennis graduated from Wimbledon in 1970 and went on to get his Master’s Electrician's License. He was a proud member of IBEW.
Dennis could strike up a conversation with anyone he met and had such a contagious laugh it would light up a room.
He loved being outdoors, golfing, hunting and his gun collection.
Dennis was proud of all of his kids and would brag about them to anyone who would listen.
He loved spending time with all of his grandchildren. They meant the world to him and him to them, they were his whole world!
He will be forever loved and deeply missed by his wife, Kim; son, Shane (Angel) Paasch; daughter, Jennifer Paasch; daughter, Melissa (John) Dougan; and son, Brad (Jen) Paasch; his best buds and princesses, Kerstyn Kutz-Samek, Makayla Paasch, Tatum Paasch, Taryn Paasch, Jace Paasch, Jaxon Paasch, Carson Dougan, Ben Dougan, Noah McDonald, Emma Paasch and Addi Paasch; brother, Buddy (Carolyn) Paasch; sister, Peggy (Harlen) Bultema; brother, Jim (Debby) Paasch; brother, Tim Paasch; sisters-in-law, Sandy Gonzales, Kathy (Bob) Junghans, Terri Stoller, Mickey Hoffer; along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Rose Paasch.
