Donna L. Aune

Donna L. Aune, age 66, passed away peacefully with her husband by her side on Friday, June 28, 2019 at CHI St. Alexius Hospital.

She was born to Edwin and Irene (Heinle) Miller on August 31, 1952. Donna grew up in Glen Ullin, ND and graduated from Glen Ullin High School.

In October of 1977, she married Charles “Chuck” Aune in Sioux Falls, SD. Chuck’s occupation allowed them to see the country. Donna enjoyed their many traveling adventures. For the past 20 years they have made their home in Braddock, ND.

Donna enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. She loved people and people loved her. Her hobbies included reading and cross stitching.

Her long battle with cancer earned her the title “Warrior”. She touched many lives with her smile and generous spirit. She maintained her trademark sense of humor all the way to the end.

Donna is survived by her husband Chuck; sisters, Sharon (Allen) Muggli and Sheila (Bruce) Schmautz; five nephews and their families. She was preceded in death by her parents; Chuck’s parents and her maternal and paternal grandparents.

At her request no service will be held.
