Donna Mae Erickson

Donna Mae Erickson, 85, Bismarck, passed away April 15, 2019, at Missouri Slope Lutheran Care Center.

Services will be held at 11:00 am Monday, April 22, at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Monday.

Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Bismarck.

Donna was born January 25, 1934, in Bismarck, ND, the daughter of Jacob and Wilhelmina Schatz. She married Earl Conrad Erickson on June 4, 1952, at Bismarck Evangelical U.B. Church. They had two children, Lee and Vonnie.

Before getting married, Donna worked as an elevator operator for the hospital. Once Donna married Earl, she was involved with Homemakers, sold Shaklee, enjoyed ceramics, and could cook and bake anything.   Donna was also a member of the Eagles Club for 50-plus years.

Donna is survived by her son, Lee (Connie); her daughter, Vonnie (Al); her grandchildren, Adam Erickson and Jason Moen (fiancée Renee Turnvall); great-grandchildren, Kadence, Neveah, and Rachael; and her brother and sister-in-law, Millard (Donna) Schatz.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl; brother and sister-in-law, Don (Joan) Schatz; sister and brother-in-law, Mavis (Harold) Anderson; and her parents, Jake and Minnie Schatz.
