Duane C. Treiber

Duane Charles Treiber, 75, Mandan, formerly of Hebron, passed away on March 28, 2018, at the Baptist Health Care Center, Bismarck, with his family by his side. Services will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, April 4, at St. John United Church of Christ, 624 Church Ave, Hebron. Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm Tuesday, April 3, at Eastgate Funeral Service, 2302 E. Divide Ave., Bismarck, where a prayer service will begin at 7:00 pm. Burial will be held at St. John’s Cemetery, Hebron. Duane Charles Treiber was born on February 26, 1943, along with his twin brother, Donald Henry, the son of Henry and Emma (Alpert) Treiber. Duane married LaDonna Meier on June 13, 1970. He was raised on the family farm which he later took over as a farmer and rancher along with his wife LaDonna by his side. The couple raised their three boys on the farm. Duane is survived by his wife of 47 years, LaDonna; his sons, Steven (Audrey) and Troy (Wendy); his grandchildren, Bradley, Ashley, and Cole; two sisters, Arlene (Richard) Magstadt, Dickinson, and Emma Lou (Curtis) Lavine, KS; two brothers, Louis (Carole), Bismarck, and Armin (Lorraine), Richardton. He was preceded in death by his son, Stuart; his parents; and his twin brother, Donald.
