In Loving Memory of Dylan Remi Kingkade: A Beacon of Love and Compassion.
It is with profound sadness that we announce the untimely passing of Dylan, a cherished son, brother, grandson, great-grandson, and friend, who left us all too soon at the age of 17. On July 9, 2023 Dylan tragically lost his life in an accident, leaving behind a void that can never be filled. Though his time with us was cut short, his impact on the lives he touched will continue on.
Dylan was born on April 27, 2006. He was loved by his siblings, Madox, Margaret, Ivy & Kaitlyn with whom he shared a bond that was unbreakable. Dylan's love for his siblings knew no bounds and he loved to make them smile. From a young age, Dylan displayed a tremendous capacity for empathy and compassion. His heart overflowed with kindness: he would always help the underdog. He was a kind and loyal friend to many. Dylan found solace and joy in the great outdoors. He reveled in the beauty of nature, taking long walks and immersing himself in its tranquil embrace. Dylan's love for nature brought him closer to the God he loved and provided him with moments of peace and reflection.
To honor the memory of Dylan and celebrate the beautiful life he lived, a memorial gathering will be held on Friday, July 14, from 1:00-3:00 PM. Family, friends, and all who knew Dylan are invited to join together at Sertoma Park (Shelter 11) to share stories, find solace in one another's presence, and honor his memory.
Dylan's life was a testament to the power of love, compassion and kindness. Though his time with us was far too short, his impact on the world will continue to inspire and uplift others. May we carry his spirit of kindness and generosity in our hearts as we remember him fondly.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made in Dylan's name to The Welcome House, Heaven's Helpers Soup Kitchen, or the Dream Center. These contributions will further the causes closest to Dylan's heart and help continue the legacy of his compassion.
Dylan will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his memory will forever remain etched in our hearts. May he find eternal peace and may his spirit of empathy continue to guide us as we navigate the journey of life. Rest in peace, dear Dylan.
