Edward Barth

Edward Barth, formerly from Glen Ullin, passed away on January 15th at Miller Pointe in Mandan.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00AM, Friday, January 19 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 204 E Ash Ave, Glen Ullin, ND.

Visitation will be held from  5:00 PM to 7:00PM,  with a rosary/vigil service starting at 7:00PM, Thursday, January 18 at Eastgate Funeral Service, 2302 E. Divide Ave, Bismarck.
Interment will be held at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.

Ed was born on May 28, 1925 to Alex and Barbara (Wolf) Barth. He was born and raised on the family farm near Glen Ullin and continued to operate the farm alongside his wife, Caroline, until they retired in 1986. He and Caroline were married for 72 years before she passed on September 15, 2021.

Blessed to call him Dad were his children, Timothy (Miriam), Jolene Kline, Mary Barth, Eddie (Twyla) and Carrie (John) Goeddertz.

Loved ones that passed before include his son, David; his grandson, Nicholas Roehrich; his parents; six siblings; Josephine, Adam, Frank, Joe, Florence and Jerome. In addition to his children, he is survived by 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and his sister Lorraine.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Miller Pointe for the wonderful care provided to Ed for the past four and a half years.
