Edward Hendricks

Edward Hendricks, 86 years old, from Bismarck, ND, passed away September 14th, 2017. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm, Monday September 18, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 502 N 4th St, Bismarck, with Rev. Steve Sathre officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 pm on Sunday September 17, at Eastgate Funeral Service, 2302 East Divide Avenue, Bismarck. Ed was the son of Katherine (Albrecht) and William Hendricks, Hettinger, ND. He was the fourth born child of eleven children. Ed married Ramona Huft on August 22nd, 1969. Together they had three sons, David, Shane and Brent. Ed was born on the family farm near Ralph, SD on December 13th, 1930. Ed served in the Army during the Korean war as a Sargent. He was always a very proud Veteran. He grew a love for working on machinery, playing in bands and experiencing the outdoors throughout his life. Ed loved to speak about his family and the great times he had on the farm. Ed is preceded in death by his parents William and Katherine Hendricks, his five brothers William Jr. (Bill), Alvin (Pete), Herman (Hank), Emil (Doc), Donald (Bud) and one sister Dorothy Osborn. Ed is survived by his wife Mona Hendricks of Bismarck, ND,  David and LaRea Hendricks of Pine Bluffs, WY, Shane and Marika Hendricks of Oak Grove, MN, and Brent Hendricks of Fargo, ND, Ed has 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. His brother Elmer Hendricks and  3 sisters Helen Kruper, Lila Maier and Doris Lepe. The Heavenly Angels needed a vocalist and a guitar player, Ed has now joined them.
