Elinor Sorenson

Elinor Cathy Sorenson of Lincoln, ND, passed away on October 11, 2023.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, October 16, 2023 at Peace Lutheran Church, 3310 66^th St SE, Lincoln. Family will greet visitors one hour prior to the service.

Elinor was born March 25, 1942 to Elow and Augusta (Hval) Anderson in Wilcox, Sask. 

Elinor moved to Lincoln, ND in 2019 with her husband Harry to be closer to their son, James, and his family. Previously, they had called Pierre, SD home for over 40 years.  

Elinor is the youngest of five children and was preceded in death by her parents, Elow and Augusta, and brothers Jerry and Harold. 

She is survived by her husband Harry, daughter Sonya Wallling (Mark), her son James Sorenson (Tobie), and her grandsons Tabor Cleberg (Amber) and Conner Sorenson, sisters Darleen Langridge, Carol Radcliffe, and Merlene Anderson.

In lieu of flowers or gifts, the family asks that donations be made to the Countryside Hospice, 415 S Crow St, Pierre, SD 57501 as it was close to her heart and with her to the end.
