Elizabeth Deichert

Elizabeth (Liz, Bets) Deichert passed away peacefully at her home Friday, August 17, 2018, after a short battle with lung cancer. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 pm on Wednesday August 22, 2018, at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck, ND. Family will greet visitors from 6:00 – 7:00 pm. Liz was born to John, Sr. and Laura Deichert on April 18, 1954. Liz was a very dedicated and hard-working employee at CHI St. Alexius for many years. She worked there until the time of her illness a few months ago. Bets was loved immensely and will be greatly missed by her awesome sisters and brothers, Cil Deichert, Bismarck, Linda (Dallas) Sailer, Queen Creek, AZ, Fooshie (Larry) Deichert, Desert Hot Springs, CA, John (Viv) Deichert, Bismarck, Steve (Nan) Deichert, Bismarck, Tom Deichert, Bismarck, Willie (Cheryl) Deichert, Rapid City, SD, Pat Deichert, Chandler, AZ, and Pat (Suz) Mueller, Bismarck. Loving nieces and nephews who will miss Bets are: Lana Sailer, John (Tamar) Deichert, Becky Deichert, Morgan and Jennifer Ripplinger, Hap and Tod Stugelmeyer, Pam and BJ Portscheller, Matt (Danni) Deichert, Chris Deichert, Kyle, Brooke, and Lucas Mueller. She will be missed as well by great nieces and nephews and her little furry friend, Jaz. Bets was preceded in death by her parents, John and Laura Deichert; daughter, Jamie Deichert; brother, James Deichert; and nephew Zachary Mueller.
