Eloise Christianson, 92, Bismarck, formerly of Devils Lake, died September 14, 2017, at Missouri Slope Lutheran Care Center, Bismarck. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, September 21, at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan. Eloise was born February 13, 1925, the daughter of Elmer and Eldora (Karlsbraaten) Toso. She attended country school and graduated from Wimbledon High School. Eloise married Ralph T. Christianson on September 23, 1946. The couple lived in Seattle, WA, from 1951-1957. Eloise worked for Boeing in her early years. The family moved home to Devils Lake in 1957 and Eloise managed the Duke’s Club from 1957 – 1974. From 1974-1989, Ralph and Eloise managed the Devils Lake Town and Country Club. The couple wintered in Mesa, AZ. In 2004, Eloise moved to Devils Lake, ND, where she lived until 2012, when she moved to Bismarck. Eloise is survived by her children, Pam (Clarence) Greene, Kenneth (Barb) Christianson, Laurie (Jerry) Reinisch, and Gary (Cheryle) Christianson; grandchildren, Tammy and Lisa, Christopher, Heather, Nicole and Jack, Jordan and Cole; step-grandchildren, Jared, Jenessa, Merritt, and Marlyn; many great-grandchildren; and her brothers, Jerry and Arden Toso. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph; and her parents.
