Elton Sayler

Elton Gilbert Sayler, 79, Bismarck, passed away at Good Samaritan Society August place on March 7, 2024.

A prayer service will be held at 7:00PM, Tuesday, March 12 at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck. 

He was born on March 15, 1944 in Underwood, ND. He was raised on the family farm southwest of Underwood. After graduating from high school, he left for California where he drove city bus. Later he moved to Arizona where his sister and brother-in-law were. He returned to North Dakota in 2002 and worked part time for a few years driving school bus.

Elton is survived by one brother, Cleaton (Ramona) Sayler of Bismarck; sister-in-law, Cheryl Sayler and brother-in-law, Ronald Kraft, both of Bismarck and nine nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gilbert and Esther (Brogden) Sayler Horst, sisters, Neoma Vogel of Mesa Arizona and Lyla Kraft of Bismarck; brothers Barton of Bismarck and Trenton of San Jose, California, brother-in-law, Philip Vogel of Mesa, Arizona and niece, Ronda Kraft of Bismarck.
