Esther Perry

Esther Perry passed away March 24, 2025, at the age of 101, at St. Vincent’s, Bismarck, ND.

A private family service will be held at a later date. 

Esther was born to Phillip and Margarethe Zoller, December 16, 1923, in Emmons County. She grew up on the family farm SW of Hazelton and attended country school. She met and married the love of her life, Gib Perry, and made their home in Bismarck. From this union they raised five children.

Esther was full of fun, always joking, smiling but was strong-minded. She dearly loved her family and friends. She never judged another person rather accepting them as they were.

Esther is survived by Randy, Scott (Sally), Deb (Jeff) Knudsen, Bismarck, ND; Doug, Beach, ND and Dan (Kathy) Perry, Mandan, ND, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews especially Wanda, Jenny, and Cheryl.

She was predeceased by her husband, Gib, her parents, 19 siblings, daughter-in law, Sally Perry; and son-in-law, Jeff Knudsen
