Ethel D. Tosseth, 93, Bismarck, died Sunday, May 21, 2017, in her home. Services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, May 27, at Sunne Lutheran Church, Wilton, with Rev. Paul Schauer officiating. Burial will be held at Ghylin Union Cemetery, Wilton. Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm Friday, May 26, at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck. Ethel was born the ninth of nine children to Harley C. and Iva M. (Keeran) Keator on May 10, 1924, in Ghylin Township, Burleigh County, ND. She attended grade school in Regan/Still/Wilton and attended Bismarck High School. She spent her entire life as a resident of Burleigh County. Ethel was married to Arthur O. Tosseth at McCabe Methodist Church on March 4, 1946. They resided on their farm in Regan with their children, Russell and Sharon until retiring to Bismarck, in May 2000. Ethel had many talents; among them, sewing, ceramics, knitting, and creating lovely hardanger pieces for family and friends. She was also an avid reader. Ethel is survived by her son, Russell (Judi), Steele, ND; and grandson, Fred Springer, Regan, ND. She was preceded in death by her husband, Art; daughter, Sharon Springer; her parents; and her eight siblings.
