Frank A. Haney, 78, Bismarck, died March 28, 2018. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 Noon Wednesday, April 4, at Church of St. Mary, 806 E. Broadway Ave., Bismarck, with Rev. Msgr. Gene Lindemann officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Bismarck. Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm Tuesday, April 3, at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck, where a rosary/vigil will begin at 7:00 pm. Frank was born July 26, 1939, in Kootenai, ID, the son of Franklin H. and Adeline A. (Schott) Haney. He graduated from high school. He married Diane C. Feist on October 5, 1973, in Bismarck. Frank enlisted in the US Navy and served for 20 years. Then he worked for the United States Postal Service as a letter carrier and supervisor. After retiring from the postal service, they moved to North Dakota where Frank drove school bus for Mandan Public Schools. Frank loved to play golf with his son, grandsons, brother-in-law and nephews. He is survived by his wife, Diane, Bismarck; his sons, Frank (Julie), Port Orchard, WA, and Rick (Tammy), Dayton, WA; his daughters, Beth Mendenhall, Portland, OR, and Kristie Goodwin, Seattle, WA; eight grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren; two brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, John (Pat) Feist, Fargo, and Greg, Bismarck; and one sister-in-law, Marlene (Ron) Bauer, Bismarck. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother and sister-in-law, Vern and Katie; sister, Aggie; two granddaughters, Neatra and Kendra Haney; one great-grandson, Andrew Carnell; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Rose and Ike Feist; and his sister-in-law, Corrine Feist.
