Frank Puklich

Frank Puklich, 89, a lifelong resident, farmer and rancher of Braddock, ND passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2020. He was a beloved father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, father-in-law and friend.

Frank was born May 1, 1930 in Braddock to Frank and Mary {Chortik} Puklich. He was raised and attended country school near his family’s farm. He later, along with his twin brother John took over the farm and ranch and started a dairy operation.

Frank loved attending every farm and livestock auction he could. He enjoyed any western tv show, polka music, dancing, fishing on a nice day and hunting in his younger years. He had a great sense of humor and shared many stories from years past. He loved watching his kids and grandkids grow up and spent as much time at family gatherings with them as he could. 

In 2012 his health had deteriorated, and he moved to the Golden Manor in Steele, ND. He enjoyed his time there with his friends and all the staff. He took up new hobbies such as playing dice, cards and a little gambling on his lunch outings.

Frank will be missed by all who knew him.

Frank is survived by his daughters, Deb (Daren) Peterson, Twin Brooks, SD, Stacie (Randy) Wangler, Bismarck, Kimberly (Jason) Paulson, Edgeley, ND, Melissa (Ryan) Johnson, Napoleon, ND, and son, Bill (Jamie) Puklich, Steele, ND. His grandchildren, Nicole (Justin), Tyler (Samantha), Alysa, Breanna, Jorgen, Cole (Brianna), McKayla, McKenna, Kasey, Maddy, Abby, Sophia, Maeci, Zach and Alyssa. Great grandchildren, Bailey, Kenlee, Cash, Owen and Britta. His brother, Mike and sisters, Fran and MaryAnn.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, John, Stan, Steve, Tony and sisters, Rose, Helen, Ann and Judy.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic a private family service will be held.
