Gary McNeil

Gary Dale McNeil, age 80, passed away at his home in Bismarck, ND surrounded by his family on January 4, 2019.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 7, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Eastgate Funeral Service 2302 East Divide Avenue, Bismarck.

The family will greet visitors at Eastgate Funeral Service, Monday January 7, from noon until the time of service.

Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery, Bismarck.

Gary was born on May 6, 1938 in Walhalla, ND to Robert and Stella McNeil. Gary attended school in Walhalla with his sister Gaylene, where he graduated the 12^th grade. Gary went on to study Business at the University of North Dakota. Gary then served in the United States Army from 1962 to 1964 at the Rocky Mountain Arsenal in Colorado. On December 30, 1962, he married Jaqueline Kenene McNeil (McColl), together they had four children.

Gary will join his son, Douglas, who died at the age of 16. He is survived by his mother, Stella; sister and brother-in-law, Gaylene and Dave; his beloved wife of 56 years, Jackie; children and their spouses; Steven (Noreen), Beth (Jason), and Mike (Alicia); grandchildren, Doug, Christopher, Meghan, McCall, Maxwell, Quade, Robert, Stuart and Bella; great grandchildren; Adrianna and Steven.

Gary had a love and devotion for farming, driving semi-trailer trucks, rodeos and horses that lasted a lifetime, and his love for dogs was unmatched.
