Gary (Mosey) Richter

Gary “Mosey” Richter of Bismarck passed away at his home of natural causes on September 10, 2019.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, September 14, at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck. Private burial will be held at a later date.

Family will greet visitors one hour prior to the service. Cremation has taken place.

Gary was born in Jamestown, ND, on June 16, 1956, the son of Anton and Mary (Thomas) Richter. He attended elementary school in Selz, ND, and high school in Harvey, ND. Gary married Brenda Wagner on April 14, 1984, and together they had one son, Matthew.

Gary worked in the construction industry for 23 years and was considered a “jack of all trades.” He was currently employed at Midwest Doors. He enjoyed working on vehicles and helped his brothers build rat rods. One of Gary’s favorite pastimes was riding motorcycle with his family and friends.

Gary is survived by Brenda, Bismarck; his son, Matthew (Katie), Mandan; his brothers and sisters, Wayne (Candace), Lincoln, Claude, Bismarck, Joan (Lee) Adams, Harvey, Elaine (Larry) Sheelor, Surrey, George (Cindy), Mandan, David (Vickie), Bismarck, and Dan (Sheri), Bismarck; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Lester.
