Georgia Clement, 90, formerly of Bismarck, died Oct 5, 2017, at Sonora, CA. A memorial service for her will be held at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck, on Friday, Nov. 3 at 2:30 PM. There will be a reception following at Parkway Funeral Service. Georgia Loreze Clement was born June 14, 1927, at Watertown, SD, to George and Loreze (Shaw) Richardson. She was raised and educated in Long Beach, Tracy, and Hollywood, CA. Georgia married Arney E. Ingels on June 14, 1947, in Hollywood, CA. She moved to Bismarck in 1964. Georgia married John H. Clement on April 20, 1973, in Newport, Oregon. She worked for the ND Legislative Council for 26 years and retired in 1992 as the Administrative Officer. After retirement, Georgia worked during many ND Legislative sessions as Payroll Clerk. Georgia was a former member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, past president of Bismarck Legal Secretaries, a former member of Sweet Adelines, Bismarck-Mandan Christian Women, the Women’s Health Club, and she volunteered for the Bismarck Emergency Food Pantry. In the fall of 2011, Georgia moved to Groveland, CA, to be near her daughter and family. Georgia is survived by her daughter, Arnette (Ingels) Cratty, son-in law, Ron Cratty; her grandchildren, Lark Cratty, Deborah Cratty, Whitney (Kory) Dawkins, Flynn (Julie) Cratty, and Micah Cratty; seven great-grandchildren; and the children and grandchildren of John Clement. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Bismarck Emergency Food Pantry or the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery.
