Ginger Ann was born on October 8, 1951, to Les and Betha (Huber) Sayler. She grew up in New Leipzig, ND, and graduated from NLHS in 1969. She went on to graduated from NDSCS and Bismarck School of Nursing. Ginger began her nursing career at St. Alexius Hospital and Mid Dakota Clinic until moving to Billings, MT, to work at Deaconess Hospital. She spent two summers at Camp Grassick as the camp nurse, all experiences she so enjoyed.
Ginger returned to Bismarck and met and married JC Rondeau in 1987. While J attended law school they lived in Lincoln, NE, and then moved to Wichita, KS, and Stevens, PA. They returned to Bismarck in 2009 in retirement.
Ging never met anyone who didn’t become an instant friend. Her warmth, humor, and kindness were evident to her patients, coworkers, and friends. She had a soft spot for children, the elderly, and anyone less fortunate. Ginger was a giver throughout life and a gift to those who knew her well. Her sense of adventure took her to destinations in Europe, Mexico, and the Caribbean. She simply lived life to the fullest.
Ginger is survived by her father and step-mother, Les and Darlene Sayler; her nephew, Les Sayler; her niece, Sarah Sayler; great-niece, Ivy Rose; and many beloved cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J; her mother, Bertha; three brothers, Dale, Rex, and Terry; and an infant sister, Sarah.
Special thanks are extended to St. Alexius Hospice team, Spectrum Home Care, her cousin and husband, Kathy and JR Rub; and several friends for the extraordinary care they provided during her last months.
Memorials may be given to St. Alexius Hospice, Hope Manor, Bismarck, ND, or New Leipzig Town and Country Booster Club.
