Glenn Zahn

Glenn Joseph Zahn, 75, passed away on April 24, 2024. 

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM, Thursday, May 2, at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Pkwy, Bismarck. 

Burial will be held at 2:00 PM at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan. 

Glenn was born on January 26, 1949 in Bismarck, ND, the son of Walter and Dorothy Zahn. 

He graduated from Center High School in 1967 and later drafted into the United States Army. 

Glenn married Julie Hagel on October 16, 1971. They had three children, Jeff, Greg and Kurt. 

He worked as a pipe fitter most of his life. He played softball and other sports, winning numerous trophies. Glenn loved fishing and hunting. 

Glenn is survived by his wife, Julie; sons, Greg (Shana) and Kurt; three grandsons, Dasan, Dylan and Damon, whom he loved deeply; siblings, Carol, Dale (Lois), Delvin (Cindy) and Shirley (Steve); numerous nieces and nephews, and his in-laws. 

Glenn was preceded in death by his oldest son, Jeff; parents, Walter and Dorothy Zahn; brothers-in-law, Kenny Weisz and Jim Hagel; and nephews, Brad Weisz and Michael Hagel.
