Grace Mittleider, 76, Tappen, died February 18, 2018, in Wishek, ND. Services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, February 24, at Zion United Methodist Church of Tappen, with Rev. Hazel Behrens officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm Friday, February 23, at Eastgate Funeral Service, 2302 E. Divide Ave., Bismarck, where a prayer service will begin at 7:00 pm. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at Fisher Cemetery, Tappen. Grace was born in Bismarck, on March 27, 1941, the daughter of Clifford and Edith (Annunson) Wilson. She was a proud graduate of Bismarck High School. Grace married Benjamin Mittleider on May 29, 1966, and to this union two daughters were born, Noa Lee in 1966 and Wendy Marie in 1971. Grace worked various jobs including, Ace Hardware, I-94 Café, Golden Manor, and Camp Grassick. However, her most cherished accomplishments were being a wife, mother, and grandmother. Grace was a kind and loving person, always seeing the good in everyone. Grace loved sewing, as well as collecting dolls and teddy bears. Many of the dolls are wearing creations made by Grace. Grace is survived by her husband of 51 years, Benjamin; her daughters, Noa (Brice) Barnick and Wendy Russell (special friend Matt); her grandchildren, Jodi (Shannon) Reardon, Derek (Shauna) Barnick, Allison (Eric) Goetz, and Austin Russell; her great-grandchildren, Carter, Harper and Cadence Reardon, Ashton and Gracie Barnick, and Avery Goetz; her mother, Edith Wilson Port; her brothers, Jim (Joan) Wilson, Guy (Deanna) Wilson, Clyde (Sandy) Wilson, and Randy (Laurale) Wilson; her sisters, June Walker, Tip (Albert) Fode, Deanne Kremer, and Terri (Pete) Hodgins; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Clifford Wilson; her infant sister, Willette; her brother, Curtis (age 3); and her brother-in-law, Henry Walker.
