Henry Grensteiner

Henry Grensteiner, 81, Bismarck, formerly of Braddock, ND passed away August 3, 2017, in Bismarck. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday August 8, at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 pm Monday August 7, at Parkway Funeral Service and will continue one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bismarck. Henry was born August 25, 1935, in Linton, the son of Phillip and Elizabeth (Bosch) Grensteiner. Henry married Bernice (Braun) on November 3, 1954 and they had four children, three sons and one daughter. He enjoyed playing cards, bowling, horseshoes and playing pool at the Eagles. Henry was a lifetime member at Eagles Clubs 2237 in Bismarck.  Henry retired from Cass Clay Mandan. Henry is survived by his three sons, Gary, Bismarck, Greg (Laurie), Roseau, MN, Gordy (Sue), Marion, IA; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two sisters Theresa (Leonard) Leier and JoAnne (Tony) Glatt, sister-in-law Lorraine Grensteiner.  He is preceded in death by his wife, Bernice; his parents Phillip and Elizabeth Grensteiner; his daughter Sandra Mary; grandson John Henry; his brothers, Andy and George; and an infant sister Alyce.
