Hilda Mohl

Hilda Elizabeth Mohl, 101, Bismarck, went to heaven on Oct. 17, 2021. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 20 at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Pkwy, Bismarck. A service livestream will be available on the funeral home’s website, listed below.

Burial will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Bismarck.

Hilda was born May 18, 1920, in Dunn County to Bernhard and Christina (Huber) Frank. She attended elementary school and later obtained her GED in Bismarck.

On September 17, 1941, Hilda married Fred Mohl. They were blessed with their daughter, Arlene. After farming north of Hazen, they moved to Pick City during dam construction and followed other construction work. Hilda clerked at elections and worked in the dietary departments at Minot and Bismarck hospitals.

She is survived by her grandchildren, Jeffrey (Karin Jooss) Halldorson, Andrew Halldorson and Steven Halldorson; great-grandchildren, Brittany (Sammy Faye) Halldorson, Katelyn (Kasper Kallestrup) Halldorson, Anna Halldorson, Nikolai Halldorson, Marcel Halldorson, Gabrielle Halldorson and Isabelle Halldorson; great-great-grandson, Magnus Kallestrup; sister, Edna Gartner; son-in-law, Burke (Barbara) Halldorson; sister-in-law, Betty Frank; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death are her husband, Fred; daughter, Arlene Halldorson; infant granddaughter, Jennifer Halldorson; her parents; and siblings, Richard Frank, Erna Haring, Lorraine Weisenburger, Otto Frank, and Ervin Frank.
