Jacquiline Rush, 63, went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 8, 2019 after a courageous battle with cancer. A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 14, at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck.
There will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place. Family will greet guests one hour prior to the services.
Jacquiline was born on December 29, 1955 to LeRoy and Arlene (Renk) Bender. She graduated from Washburn High School in 1974 and married David Rush. Jackie was always a dedicated worker, and throughout her life span, had a long-term employment with Ace Hardware in Mesa, AZ, Cenex in Auburn, WA, and Delta Airlines in Salt Lake City. After retiring from Delta Airlines, she moved to Bismarck in 2012 to be closer with family members. Prior to her illness she was employed with the ND DOT working with Real I.D. applicants.
Jackie had a tremendous, kind heart and was always willing to help someone in need. She took time to provide a home-cooked meal to someone who needed a friend. She had a passion for genealogy and was always looking to identify that old photo that was sent to her. Jackie enjoyed traveling, a swim in the lake, camping, and fishing. She loved flowers and it made her day when she got a fresh bouquet.
She leaves behind her son, Dave Rush and grandson Jonathan Rush; her daughter Jennifer (Luke) Rush-Gross and grandson Justice Boles; her parents, LeRoy and Arlene Bender; sisters Linda Heger and Sandy (Allen) Blatter; brother, Tim (Kristi) Bender; niece, Annie (Dane) Johansen; special aunt, Carol Adams; and her beloved cat, Cracker Jack.
Jackie is preceded in death by her grandparents and nephew, Russel Emineth.
