James “Jim” Wynn, 76, Stanton passed away May 12, 2020 at Knife River Care Facility, Beulah.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, June 22, at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan.
Jim was born May 5, 1944 to Ed and Doris (Miller) Wynn in Minneapolis, MN.
Jim entered the Navy in 1962 and was honorably discharged in 1967. He married Joann Truesdell in 1967 and they had one daughter, Brenda. Jim married Jeannie Johnson in 1977 and they had one daughter, Corinna. He enlisted in the Army National Guard in 1986.
Jim was a mechanic for the Boilermakers Union Local 674. He enjoyed fishing and the outdoors. Jim was a social and funny person. He could strike up conversation with anyone and his humor could make anyone laugh.
Jim is survived by his daughter, Corinna (Joe) Anderson; grandchildren, Travis, Timothy, Julia, Jacob and Parker; brothers, John, Mike and Mark; sister, Jane Besmehn; nephew, John; good friends, Danny and Dian, and many more family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Brenda.
