Jason William Smith

Jason William Smith, 35, passed away on January 15, 2018.Services will be held at 1:00 pm Monday, January 22, at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck.Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at Parkway Funeral Service, Bismarck.Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery, Bismarck. Jason was born on March 24, 1982, to Lynn and Jeffery Smith, and spent his childhood in Ft. Worth, TX. Jason was a country boy born in the city who was proud of his redneck ways. He was a passionate man who loved anything to do with motors. You could always find him tinkering on a motor or a stereo system. Jason had big dreams of owning his own company and took pride in his skill of concrete. Jason had an infectious laugh and big blue eyes that sparkled when he was with his children. He was a teddy bear with a booming voice who was adored by his children. Jason is survived by his parents, Jeffery Smith and Lynn (Ray) Diaz; his children, Alexis, Thomas, Kennah, Brooklyn, Hayden, Dain and Emelia; four brothers, Kevin Montgomery, Brad Smith, Alex Smith and Joshua Coates; two sisters, Christina (Michael) Mitchell and Jessica Kelley; and grandmother, Sally (Mel) Hysmith. Jason is also survived by his special friend, Whitney; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, along with his #1 companion, Mr. Lou Dog.
