Jeanne Rae Krein

Jeanne Rae (Fischer) Krein, Mandan, 60, passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2018. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Monday, February 12, at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck. Family will greet guests one hour prior to the service at Parkway Funeral Service, Bismarck. Jeanne was born November 28, 1957, in Bismarck to Adrian and Helen Fischer. Jeanne loved the outdoors. She enjoyed her time in the sun while working in her yard, gardening or playing on the river. The flowers she could grow were some of the most beautiful ever. She took pride in her yard and loved sharing its beauty. If you had the pleasure of enjoying time with her, you can probably still hear her laugh. It was definitely one of the best! Jeanne was a caretaker. In past years, Jeanne had been employed by Baptist Nursing Home and was also a nurse at Med Center One. She will be missed greatly and will forever hold a special place in our hearts. Jeanne is survived by her husband, Ron Krein of Mandan; her son, Ryan Stuart and daughter-in-law Melissa (Boyer) Stuart, her grandsons, Bentley Stuart and Blake Stuart, all of Bismarck; her mother, Helen Silbernagel Fischer of Bismarck; her brother, Neal Fischer and wife Lynn; sister, Dayta Berger and husband Bob, all of Bismarck/Mandan; and her sister, Nancy Buck and husband John, of Phoenix, AZ; nine nieces and nephews, and 12 great-nieces and nephews. Jeanne was preceded in death by her father, Adrian Joseph Fischer; her sister, Melissa Fischer; her grandparents, Adam and Magdalene Silbernagel and Wendelin and Elizabeth Fischer.
