Jeanne C. Perius

Jeanne C. Perius, 67, Bismarck, died December 10, 2018.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am Friday, December 14, at Church of Corpus Christi, 1919 N 2^nd St., Bismarck.

Cremation has taken place.

Interment will take place at Rosehill Cemetery, Minot.

Jeanne Perius was born December 1, 1951, in Mandan, ND, to Allen and Ruth Perius. They later moved to Minot, ND, where she graduated from Minot High School. Jeanne attended the University of Mary in Bismarck, Minot State University, and NDSU where she competed her Master’s Degree in learning disabilities. Jeanne taught in several small communities throughout North Dakota. Most of her teaching career was in the Bowman Public School Systems. After she retired from Bowman she moved to Bismarck, ND, where she started working at St. Anne's as an aide. 

Jeanne had a strong faith in God and enjoyed prayer. Her rosary was never far from her and she generously prayed for all of us. She loved her family, friends, and students. Jeanne was one of the most genuine people you'd meet. She had a generous spirit and trusted in people to be good. Jeanne was understanding and quick to forgive. She will be deeply missed and held in our hearts forever. 

Jeanne is survived by her daughter, Juana Perius and granddaughters, Carlie and Leah Perius; her sister, Mary Henjum; brother-in-law, Skip Ristvedt; and her nieces and nephew.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Allen and Ruth Perius.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to St. Anne's elementary school library in Bismarck, or to a school library of your choice. Books and children were two of her favorite things.
