Jeffry L. Kramer

Jeffry Lynn Kramer, born on Feb. 27, 1959, passed away surrounded by the love of his family and friends on Oct. 16th, 2024. 

A dedicated firefighter in his early years with his brother in Manchester, Conn., Jeff spent his entire life in service to others, often giving them more than himself, working tirelessly to protect and support his community. His service at Marcus Communications took him to literal new heights, climbing towers or setting up the latest and greatest communication technology. When he wasn’t climbing towers, Jeff took pride in his adept ability to provide security within his community which included catching a local arsonist. 

Later in life, he opted to move back to North Dakota to continue helping others with his vast knowledge in all subjects. He became the facilities manager at CTI where he found his second coming in life, building and fixing every problem that nobody else could.

Jeff was well known for his strength, tenacity, and the sheer determination that defined him. He was a hard worker who embodied the phrase “Jack of all trades,” which earned him the nickname of "Big Daddy."

Jeffry's true pride and joy, however, was his family, who supported him every step of the way (and with all the crazy idea he had).

Jeff is survived by his sister Deb (Perry), his brother Bruce (Mary Ann). His Aunt Thelma. He was cherished by his nephews Michael, John (Kris), Jesse (Jamie), and nieces Alycia (Allan), Amanda (Joe), Carolyn, Elizibeth (Angel) and many great-nieces and nephews, all of whom remember him as a pillar of strength and wisdom.

He also shared a deep bond with his children: Brandy, and Robert (Kristin) and adored his grandchildren, Jaycene, Neriah, Marcel, Kianna, Makella, and Kyler.

Jeff joins his father Ruben and mother Mae, along with his big brother Russell in Heaven after an unexpected battle with pancreatic cancer.

Whether spending time with family or helping a neighbor in need, Jeff always approached life with a generous heart and a steady hand.

Jeffry will be remembered for his unwavering dedication, his love of family, and his ability to fix just about anything.His legacy will live on in the hearts of those he loved and those who had an open ear to let him speak his mind.

 He will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

 We invite everyone who knew Jeff for a graveside burial service at 2 p.m. on Nov. 8th at Underwood Cemetery.
