Jeremy Jo Heilman, 39, Bismarck, died September 20, 2017, at a Bismarck Hospital. Services will be held 11:00 am Tuesday, September 26, at Living Hope Church of the Nazarene, 1826 N 8th St., Bismarck, ND. Burial will be held at Fairview Cemetery, Bismarck. Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm Monday, September 25, at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck, where a prayer service/sharing of memories will begin at 7:00 pm. Jeremy Jo Heilman was born on August 31, 1978, in Bismarck, the son of Larry and Leona (Volk) Heilman. He loved to hunt, fish, garden, camp, and travel with his wife. Jeremy married the love of his life, Amy Hjelmstad, on February 14, 1998. They had two daughters, Abby and Katie. Jeremy loved his family and would do anything for them. In 2014, his grandson Kamdyn was born, in 2017, granddaughter, Karter arrived. He loved nothing more than being “Papa.” Jeremy worked for the City of Bismarck as a building inspector for the past 5 years. Before that he was a journeyman plumber for 15 years in Bismarck. Jeremy is survived by his wife of 19 years, Amy Heilman; his daughters, Abby (Ethan), and Katie; his grandchildren, Kamdyn and Karter Monahan; his mother, Leona Heilman; his sisters, Jodi (Kelly) Unger, and Tanya Heilman; numerous nieces and nephews; and many special friends. Jeremy was preceded in death by his father, Larry; brother, Terry; his sister, Lora Raught; his grandparents, Joe and Julia Volk, and Sebastian and Lena Heilman.
