Jesse Eugene Walker, 75, left this world to be with his Lord on Saturday, October 13, 2018, at Sanford Hospital in Bismarck, after a long fight with heart disease and diabetes. Cremation has taken place. At Jess’s request, there will be no funeral service. Jess was born December 16, 1942, in Muncie, Indiana. He spent 8 years in the Air Force Reserves. Jess’s career spanned 37 years in law enforcement and he devoted his time to serving the public in various agencies in Indiana, Montana and North Dakota and ending his career when he retired as a Captain from the Mandan Police Department in 2002. He was a true peace officer and was dedicated to helping anyone he could. Jess had a great love of fishing, boating and camping, computers, and gaming with his online family. He was devoted to Bible study. Jess is survived by his wife Peggy of Bismarck; his son Brian and Nina Walker, a brother Fred and Dotty Walker; four granddaughters, Whitney and Jonathon Likes, Kaley Harrison Walker, Paige Walker and Brianna Walker, and daughter-in-law Valorie Vogl, all of Great Falls, Montana and many nieces and nephews and their families. Jess was proceeded in death by his parents, Jesse T. And Edna Mae Walker; two sisters, Shelia Walker and Diann Hunt; and one son, Donald Eugene Walker.
