Johanna Trolliey, 90, Bismarck, died July 24, 2017. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, July 27, at Cathedral of the Holy Spirit, 519 Raymond St., Bismarck, with Fr. Jared Johnson officiating. Burial will be held at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bismarck. Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm Wednesday, July 26, at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck, where a rosary/ vigil will begin at 7:00 pm. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church. Johanna was born February 27, 1927, on the family farm northwest of Mandan, ND, the daughter of George M. and Otillia (Zander) Geiger. She grew up on the farm and attended school at St. Joseph School, Mandan, and Mandan High School. She was employed with Lee Mohr Photography in Mandan. On February 6, 1951, she married William Trolliey in Mandan. Following his discharge from the Army, they made their home in Mandan, until moving to Bismarck where they made their home for the past 60 plus years. After retirement, Johanna and William traveled throughout the US, wintering in Texas and Arizona. Together they enjoyed camping and fishing with their family and friends on Lake Sakakawea. She especially loved attending her grandchildren’s sporting events. Johanna is survived by her daughters, Linda Trolliey, Bismarck, and Jolene (Scott) Miller, Perham, MN; one son, Russ (Shelley) Trolliey, Bismarck; three grandchildren, Courtney, Matthew, and Brooklyn Trolliey; sister, Martha Fiechtner, Bismarck; brother-in-law, Clem Kopp; and five nieces and one nephew. She was preceded in death by her husband, William; daughter, Lanette; grandson, Seth Wise; sister, Agnes Kopp; sister-in-law, Laura; and brothers-in-law, Phil and Edwin “Butch” Trolliey, and Walter Fiechtner.
