Jonathon Tyler Wohl, 24, Bismarck, died May 26, 2019.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Monday, June 3, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 106 Osage Ave, Bismarck, with Rev. Craig A. Schweitzer officiating. Burial is at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bismarck.
Jonathon Tyler Wohl was born in Bismarck, ND, and grew up in the country, in the Baldwin area. He graduated from Century High School and graduated from NDSCS with honors in Diesel Technology. His employment included UPS, Exxon, and raising cattle with his Dad and Grandpa Wohl. He also enjoyed working with Temchack Auctions.
Jonathon was protective of and deeply loved and cared for his sister Julia. He enjoyed animals, collecting things, visiting friends, reading, movies, gaming, working on vehicles, and used his talents working on machinery with his Grandfathers. Jonathon had a quick wit and was always ready to share a smile. He may have appeared shy, but once you got to know him he loved talking.
We will remember his adventurous spirit (pulling wheelies with the lawn tractor, making jumps to land in the snow with his bicycle) and making funny inventions at home and the lake (building boats with sails out of whatever he could find). Although his journey through life ended early, he left a lasting impression of a gentle soul and a generous man. We will always cherish our precious memories of Jonathon.
Jonathon is survived by his parents, John and Jeannine and sister Julia; his grandparents, Melvin and Lilli Wohl; grandmother, Joan Spitzer; relatives: Barbara (Jon), Kylee, Tyler, Jessica Walsvik; Raymond (Angie), Alexis Wohl; Letitia (Joe), Brian Whetstone; Michael Spitzer, Jerry (Megan), Charles, Emma Spitzer; Douglas (Jennifer), Ava, Evan Spitzer; and Darlyne (Steven), Hazel, Edward Luger.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jake and Darlyne Spitzer.
If you have a picture sharing a happy memory with Jonathon or a memento, his family would like to surround Jonathon with these happy memories at the time of his burial. They can be placed with him by you or the family.
