Jordan was a joy to his mother and family. He was a happy, energetic little boy with a fabulous personality. When he was 16 months old Jordan suffered an illness that left him with significant disabilities. His disabilities could not break his heart or his spirit and with that, he would bless the lives of all he would come in contact with for the next 24 years. When Jordan was three, his loving mother Angie met Grant who came to be the perfect father to Jordan. Angie and Grant raised this beautiful Child of God, and believe it was Jordan that blessed their lives and those of his brother and sister, Cole and Lindsey, in a unique and beautiful way.Jordan wasn't a star athlete, a scholar, or a singer with advanced degrees, medals, or awards displayed in his home, and he never gave a long, eloquent speech to inspire and awe the masses. To the wealthy, Jordan would appear to have lived an unsuccessful life; to the short sighted, an uneventful one; and to the ignorant, insignificant. But for those who knew him, it is a much different story. With one smile, Jordan could make your day. With one grimace, he could put your life into perspective, and with his death, leave a giant crater in your heart. Not one word spoken, and he changed the lives of so many around him. Not one threat, vulgar word, or hurtful comment. Jordan never hurt a living soul, except when he took his last breath. How many people can add that to their resume? Jordan was loved beyond measure and will be greatly missed. He leaves his mother, Angie Greer; father, Grant Wilz; brother, Cole; sister, Lindsey; grandparents, Gordon and Rose Greer of Cleveland, Marilyn Wilz of Bismarck; great-grandparents, Imogene Greer and Ed Braun, Cleveland, his aunts and uncles, Thomas Greer, Ryan and Becky Greer, Lane and Allyson Greer, Greg and Sharon Wilz, Gary and Pam Wilz, Guy and Sallie Wilz, Gigi Wilz and Davina French, Gwen and Tim Beckler, along with several cousins and extended family. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Charles Wilz; and great-grandfather, Glen Greer. A Special Thank you to the nurses and CNA’s at Sanford, DR Van Norman, who never gave up on Jordan, the wonderful caregivers he has had throughout his life, Sara Steffan and the amazing Day Program Staff at ENABLE and the Great American Bike Race (GABR) Foundation. Family prefers memorials to ENABLE Day Services at 941 Basin Ave, or the GABR Foundation.
