Judith "Judy" Mae Romine

Judith “Judy” Mae Romine, 68, passed away peacefully on February 24, 2018, after a brief stay at Miller Pointe Care Center. A celebration of her life will take place in early May. Judy was born on May 3, 1949, to Monte and Geri (Garland) Romine in Carrington, ND. She enjoyed her days in grade school and vocational workshops and worked with several wonderful friends and caring people at both Pride Inc. and Gracefully Aging Day Program, Bismarck. She was currently at Gateway Group Home where she was loved unconditionally by her second family. Judy is survived by and missed by her mother, Geri Gader, Mandan; her sisters, Jill, WA, and Janean (Tom), Mandan; her brothers, Jon, Fargo, and Jack, WA; her brother-in-law, Arturo Ocegueda, CA: her nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Monte Romine; sister, Jane Ocegueda; and her grandparents, Frank and Ethel Garland and Jess and Thelma Romine. Judy will be fondly remembered for her love of people, dancing, music, laughter, and the simple joys in life. She would often sing out, “How sweet it is to be loved by you.” Rest peacefully in the arms of Jesus, sweet Judy; love you always.
