Judy Ann Malkin (Wald), 77, of Bismarck, ND passed away on April 13, 2023, due to a courageous battle with cancer.
Visitation will be held from 2:00-3:00 PM, Sunday, April 23, at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Pkwy, Bismarck.
A celebration of life will be held from 3:00-3:30 PM.

Judy was born on November 8, 1945 to Frank Jr. and Richardina (Gange) Wald in New Rockford, North Dakota.
Judy attended Bishop Ryan High School in Minot, North Dakota and later graduated from business school in South Carolina.
Judy will be greatly missed by her children Tanya (Bismarck), Chris (Fort Lauderdale), her dog, Sammie and everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. She is survived by her 4 siblings Dan (Janet), Laurelei, General Charles (Marilyn), and Mark (Debbie) as well as her 7 nieces and nephews.
Judy had the biggest heart and the most contagious laugh. She was a private but vibrant person and also very witty and fun! She was fearless and independent, yet sensitive and incredibly compassionate. She loved cooking, playing Pinochle and other card games, and researching Wald family history as our unofficial historian, and found comfort in religion. She took care of everyone around her especially through her cooking of Wald Family recipes. To this day her spaghetti recipe is greatly sought-after.
She was strong-willed and stubborn, but those traits defined Judy. They were part of who she was, and her strength undoubtedly helped her deal with life’s challenges. Judy was a strong fighter, but she is now sailing on a journey to shores that we cannot see. We know that she is free from pain and is welcomed with open arms from her friends and family who have gone before her.
Judy was also a second mom to many of Chris and Tanya's friends and their children enjoyed calling her Grandma Judy.
