K.C. “Kamaron Carl”, “Kams” Reinhardt, 51, passed away November 10, 2024.
K.C. had many struggles throughout his life that he battled for a long time. In a way, his family would say that we lost the K.C. we once knew, but always had hope that he would be able to overcome and conquer his demons and once again return to us. Unfortunately time had ran out, but he did not come to pass without putting in the work, even if that meant being away from those he loved to accomplish this goal.
A gathering to share memories will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, Jan. 31, at Eastgate Funeral Service, 2302 E Divide Ave, Bismarck. A small reception will be held for family and close friends at his sister’s residence at 3319 Butterfield Dr. Bismarck, ND approximately 12:30 PM.
K.C. was born in Bismarck, ND but grew up in a variety of different areas but returned to ND where he graduated as a proud “Go Braves” Mandan graduate. He shortly enlisted in the US Army where he served two years as a heavy equipment mechanic. K.C. was proud to have served and had the utmost respect for other veterans of any military branch. You could always find a US flag displayed no matter where he stayed and always thanked those for their service. He was the second of three brothers to serve for their county. Other servicemen/women have stated that K.C. had helped them throughout their own struggles. During his stationing abroad, he welcomed his first born, Ashley. After his discharge, he would later welcome his second and last child, Kambree. K.C. loved his children immensely. He was the type of father that would roll around the floor and make cardboard forts for he and them to run around in as children. There were periods of his life that required him be away from his children, but he always kept them in his thoughts. No matter where he was he always had pictures of them nearby.
K.C. had a love for life but his struggles tended to get in the way. When he was able to be himself, he loved being with his family. He would often say that this is “all he had.” Although he sometimes struggled to show his appreciation, he presented with a huge heart. He was often thought of as a protector and “would hurt anyone that would try to hurt his family.” K.C. loved the outdoors, camping and boating to be specific and often just some of the simplest things or activities. He couldn’t wait till the next time he could get out on the Missouri River so much that at times, you could find him just sitting in the boat parked in the driveway, just imaging his time out there. He enjoyed going to the local airport and just watching the planes come and go. He loved stopping at constructions sites with heavy machinery and watching as if a little boy playing with their Tonka truck. He enjoyed letting loose and trying to put his struggles behind him. He enjoyed the times with his brothers even if the arguing back and forth would seem otherwise. He loved his movies (if you haven’t seen the movie Flight, K.C. would urge you to see it), loved his music in which you often would see him with his headphones in, and enjoyed reading to include genres of suspense and anything military related.
K.C. is survived by his two children, Ashley Lee and family, Kambree Reinhardt; siblings, Kevin Reinhardt and family, Corey Reinhardt and family, Christina Miller and family; his parents, Cheryl and Tony Doll, Koreen Ressler and many uncle, aunts, nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Wayne Reinhardt; father, Ron Reinhardt; as well as all grandparents.
