Kathleen "Kay" Swenson

Kathleen “Kay” Swenson, 65, Bismarck, passed away July 1, 2021. A graveside service was held at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan.

Kay was born on April 14, 1956, to Nick and Vivian (Sabot) Schirado. She was raised and educated in Bismarck, graduating from Bismarck High School.

She was known for her sense of humor and infectious laugh.  She had a heart of gold and loved her family.  She will be forever in our hearts. 

Always loved, forever missed, never forgotten.

Kay is survived by her children, Melissa (Walter) McDaniel-Brooks, Chad (Susan) Swenson and Brandon (Kim) Swenson; siblings and their children, Cindy (Andy) Koenig, Julie (Jeff) Schirado Kuss and Douglas (Dena) Schirado.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
